ABOUT US
We honestly didn't know how to write a bio for a band. So we asked ChatGPT and she (yes, ChatGPT is a girl) told us the most common quesitons people ask bands.
Rob came up with the name years ago. I don't really remember how it
came to be, but I for sure remember the reason.
I've always loved music. Music has been something that has brought me together with people for years. It is a deep connection when you like the same music. My wife always talks about how at concerts everyone is there with the same love. Now sometimes we get punched in a mosh pit, but for the most part, everyone is unified. It is a beautiful thing.
I really wanted a name that showed that. I also love short names. Single word names. And so Town. Then Kyson came up with the idea of spelling it with all caps and adding the exclamation point. I loved it! It is pretty dang on brand for me.

Kinda crazy.
Rob got super sick in 2022 with what ended up being a rare form of arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis. Spent the better part of a year at about a 7/10 pain all over his body.
Rob had played guitar since he was 5 and written songs since 15. Had tons of material but never showed it to anyone. I mean not a soul aside from his wife. It was always something at the back of his mind that he would do one day.
Well getting sick showed him that life is short and don't live your life with regrets. He knew he would regret not releasing some music and really trying to get it out there.
After he started feeling better in 2024, he started trying to find someone to help. Signed up for a band dating website called BandMix. Reached out to a bunch of people and no one said yes. Then one day he got this message from Kyson:
So Rob reached back out to Kyson and went over to his parents house
in Layton. Jammed for a while and both got a good feeling. So much
so that Rob shared some of this songs with Kyson.
This is Rob writing now: I can honestly say I was nervous as crap to share those songs with Kyson. I had never played them for anyone. So I played a few. And to my absolute shock, Kyson loved them. I'll never forget this, but he said, "The world needs to hear these songs". Just about the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my music. And from that day on, we've been great friends working on this album/future albums!
